Dear Neighbor,

After 24 years, Village President Peter Silvestri has decided to retire. Having left the Illinois General Assembly in the beginning of January, I along with a slate of candidates, have filed petitions to seek election to serve as Village President, Clerk, and Trustees.

We have put together an outstanding group of candidates who will run on the April ballot as the People’s Choice Party. Besides myself running for Village President, our slate will include Gina M. Pesko for Village Clerk, Jeffrey L. Sargent, Anthony “Tony” Del Santo and Angelo J. Lollino for the three offices of Village Trustee. Our slate is a hybrid coalition from both Mayor Silvestri’s Unity Party and the former opposition Voice Party.

We have worked hard to put together a good team that will continue to make Elmwood Park a great place to live. In the coming weeks, you will hear more about our campaign’s vision and goals.

I have been honored to serve as your State Representative and hope to have your support in my quest to become Mayor of our great village. I promise to continue to provide quality service to the taxpayers of Elmwood Park and do my best to continue to make Elmwood Park a village we are proud to call home.

Sincerely,

Angelo “Skip” Saviano
People’s Choice Party
Candidate – Village President of Elmwood Park
